What you will do:
- Develop project scope of works for factory tool installations, central facilities plant upgrades, and cleanroom construction projects.
- Management of Sub-Contractors undertaking routine and emergency tasks.
- Creation of Permit to work forms.
- Validation of Risk and Method Statements.
- Creation of Scope of works for quotation/tender processes.
- Budget and Expense management control and reporting.
- Ability to efficiently prioritise work schedules, minimising downtime and maximising resources.
- Ability to confidently liaise with other support Departments and functions.
- Manage and control ‘Facilities Work Request’ (ad-hoc facilities requests) process.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure priority conflicts are resolved effectively.
- Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Manage health and safety requirements, clearly demonstrating a ‘Safe System of Work’ in line with all Facilities Management activities.
What you will need:
- Time served apprenticeship with formal craft qualification.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) experience essential.
- CAD skills would be advantageous.
- NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate.
- ILM or CMI Level 3 in supervision/management or applicable experience.
- Experience in a dynamic Manufacturing/Industrial environment preferred.
- A results-oriented individual with high level of attention to detail and strong leadership skills.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining good contractor/supplier relationships.
- Strong engineering background with methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to act and react to ever changing business demands in a focussed and efficient manner without loss of focus.
- Understanding of Cleanroom working principles.
- Experience of central facilities plant and equipment.
- Experience of plant & equipment commissioning and decommissioning.
