We are currently working with an ambitious and growing structural and civil engineering consultancy that provides innovative and thorough design solutions for a variety of clients across multiple sectors. An opportunity has arisen for a Structural Technician to join their HQ in Leicester, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality designs for a wide range of projects. These include industrial, retail, leisure, residential, student accommodation, commercial, public sector, and education developments.
The consultancy offers hybrid working arrangements within a relaxed and welcoming culture, focusing on small teams to ensure a personalised service for their clients. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to grow and develop their career within the structures function.
Key Responsibilities- Developing models and drawings using AutoCAD & Revit.
- Collaborating effectively with internal design teams and external clients.
- Contributing to all stages of design, from initial concepts to construction documentation.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in building structures engineering and detailing steel and concrete.
- Knowledge of CADS RC software is advantageous.
- Experience across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, residential, and education.
- HNC or higher qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong working knowledge of Building Engineering principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the entire design team.
