This growing structural engineering consultancy based in central Nottingham is constantly delivering practical and innovative engineering solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You’ll be delivering high-quality design in a collaborative working environment that places a high value on your experience using Revit.

You will work closely with the BIM Manager and other experienced Revit Technicians to produce accurate technical drawings and models for a variety of projects. Career progression is huge here. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce structural drawings and details using AutoCAD (and/or Revit where applicable)
  • Assist engineers in developing structural design solutions
  • Prepare general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, and structural layouts
  • Coordinate drawings with architects and other consultants
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements
  • Maintain drawing registers and document control where required

Requirements of this Structural Technician role:

  • Experience working as a Structural Technician within a UK consultancy
  • Proficiency in Revit as well as AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of structural detailing for all main materials
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches and calculations
