Job Description

As the Marketing Manager for our confectionery category, you'll be the driving force behind some of the nation's favourite sweet treats.

This role is all about innovation, brand building, and market growth.

You'll take ownership of our beloved confectionery brands, leading with creativity and strategic insight to ensure we remain top of mind for consumers.

We are looking for somebody to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be required to work 3 days a week from our Leeds hub - Mon, Tue, Thu.

  • Hit or beat budget financial targets and grow market shares for our confectionery brands.
  • Create and deliver exceptional brand plans, utilizing available resources to maximize impact.
  • Implement learning plans with a capacity to innovate, try new approaches, and refine strategies.
  • Provide detailed quarterly reporting internally and prepare versions for external stakeholders.
  • Use analytical thinking to drive decisions and develop insightful strategies.
  • Lead your team with energy, coaching them to excel and grow.
  • Oversee the marketing budget for the confectionery category, covering core marketing, ASOH, and shopper marketing.
  • Work cross-functionally within the confectionery team and beyond to ensure cohesive strategies.
  • Be the face of our confectionery brands, especially in interactions with retailers.
  • Lead and inspire the “Consumer is Boss” plan, maintaining regular connections with our consumers.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to innovate and drive growth within a large organisation.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful brand strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams.

Excellent skills in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills to support logical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative environment and work effectively across functions.
