You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the ELECTRONICS/FACILITIES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of NCTAMSLANT NORVA. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Duties
- You will serve as the Immediate Superior in Charge (ISIC) of the Maintenance, Material and Management (3M) Program, and the Basic Electronics Safety and Antenna Maintenance programs for the LANT region.
- You will serve as the Lead for the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) for 3M/Miniature Micro-Miniature Module Test and Repair (2M/MTR)/Basic Electronics Safety/Antenna Maintenance programs.
- You will provide leadership and direction to the department’s workforce, ensuring clear expectations in execution of duties.
- You will prioritize regional mission plans and tasks and assign and delegate the work.
- You will participate in the development of recommended training, promotion recommendations and disciplinary actions for military and civilian personnel.
- You will oversee and manage the calibration, repair, procurement, replacement and disposition of General Purpose Electronic-Electrical Test Equipment (GPETE) for NCTAMS LANT and all regional activities.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
- Experience planning and executing comprehensive maintenance programs such as the Maintenance, Material, and Management (3M) and Basic Electronics Safety and Antenna Maintenance programs.
- Experience providing technical and managerial expertise in the maintenance of complex, specialized and unique telecommunications and facility systems and equipment.
- Experience developing guidance, policy, performance criteria, technical proposals and project plans and instructions.
- Experience developing and implementing both short and long-range goals and objectives.
This position is within the Work Category SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-1670-14.
