TXM Recruit are partnering with a leading, Global Intralogistics business who specialise in the design, development and maintenance of highly automated systems as they search for a Lead Site Engineer to join the team.

The responsibility of the Lead Site Engineer will be a mixture of managing stakeholders, leading a small team, managing CMMS as well as helping with maintenance tasks within a fast‑paced environment.

  • 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site, as well as contributing to continuous improvement tasks.
  • Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated systems.
  • Mechanical maintenance tasks such as strip‑down and re‑assembly of equipment, replacement of components and re‑lacing of belts for example.
  • Electrically, you will be responsible for electrical testing using a multi‑meter, interpreting electrical diagrams & symbols to support identification of faults and work up to 480v.
  • Managing CMMS and all maintenance allocation.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Lead a small team whilst promoting and building customer relations.
  • Tracking budgets.
  • KPI tracking.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Completed an apprenticeship in an Electromechanical discipline to a minimum standard of NVQ level 3.
  • Experience of Automated Systems.
  • HNC/HND NVQ Level 5 Desirable.
  • Understanding of a WMS or WCS system is beneficial.
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge is beneficial.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills.
