Trust Education are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Full-Time General Cover Teacher to join a welcoming school in Chesterfield on a full-time basis, starting ASAP on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of subjects and year groups, supporting pupils in maintaining continuity of learning and engagement in the absence of their regular teacher.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively, and provide feedback on pupil progress to support ongoing learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Have experience working across a range of subjects and key stages
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable and confident covering different subjects
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
