About the role

We are working with a growing and dynamic business specialising in the design, production and distribution of fun, licensed children's products for the UK and European markets, who are looking to appoint a Production Coordinator to join their team.

Based in Greater London, this is a hands-on and varied role where you will manage the production process from initial concept through to delivery, working closely with design, sales, licensing and international suppliers. You will play an important part in ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality, safety and licensing standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you will have real involvement across product development, production and approvals, with the opportunity to influence products throughout the development process.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end production process across all product lines, from initial concept through to final delivery
  • Working closely with Design, Sales and Licensing teams to support new product development and launches
  • Coordinating with UK and international suppliers to ensure manufacturing is delivered on time and cost effectively
  • Managing production schedules and timelines, reacting to changes and ensuring key retailer deadlines are achieved
  • Monitoring product quality, safety and compliance with relevant UK and EU regulations
  • Identifying and resolving production issues, delays and quality concerns quickly and effectively
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and licensors, ensuring brand and licensing requirements are met
  • Identifying opportunities to improve production processes, efficiencies and costs

Person specification:

  • Previous experience within a production, manufacturing or product coordination role, ideally within consumer products
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, production planning and product development
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive problem solver and confident communicator, comfortable working with internal teams, international suppliers and licensors
  • Experience with licensed products, UK retailers or children's product safety and compliance would be advantageous
