Solicitor (1-3 PQE) – Property Litigation

Our Property Litigation team is recognised for its expertise in resolving complex property disputes and delivering practical, commercially focused advice to a broad range of clients.

We work closely with colleagues across the firm's property, agricultural, private client and commercial teams, providing specialist support on a wide variety of contentious property matters.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a talented Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join our established and highly regarded team.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a specialist property litigation practice, working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied and high-quality caseload.

The Role

You will work closely with partners and senior members of the team on a broad range of property disputes, advising a diverse client base including landlords, tenants, developers, landowners, investors and private individuals.

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop your technical expertise, build strong client relationships and take increasing responsibility for your own matters as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on a wide range of property disputes.
  • Assisting with landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, forfeiture, possession claims and breaches of covenant.
  • Advising on easements, rights of way, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes and adverse possession claims.
  • Supporting on development related disputes and other complex real property matters.
  • Managing your own caseload appropriate to your level of experience, with supervision and support from senior colleagues.
  • Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Assisting colleagues on complex and high-value disputes.
  • Participating in business development initiatives and helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver practical and commercial solutions for clients.

About You

You will

  • Be a qualified solicitor with approximately 1-3 years' PQE.
  • Have experience in property litigation or a strong interest in developing a specialist career in this area.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be an effective communicator with excellent client care skills.
  • Have a proactive approach and a genuine enthusiasm for contentious property work.
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
