Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per year (M1–UPS3)

Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Start Date: 8 September 2026

Transparency Education is looking for a capable and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a primary school in Croydon from September 2026. This is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys challenging pupils academically while maintaining the supportive classroom culture children need to develop confidence, curiosity and independence.

What you will do

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Set ambitious but achievable expectations for pupils.
  • Monitor progress through effective assessment.
  • Identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Differentiating appropriately for SEND and higher-attaining pupils.
  • Establish consistent classroom routines and behaviour expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and year-group colleagues.
  • Communicate positively with parents and carers.

What we are looking for

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Recent KS2 teaching or placement experience.
  • Strong curriculum and subject knowledge.
  • Effective behaviour management.
  • Good planning and assessment skills.
  • High expectations for pupil progress.
  • A collaborative and professional approach.

Applications are welcomed from experienced KS2 teachers as well as strong ECTs with suitable Key Stage 2 experience. Salary of £40,372–£59,864 is dependent on experience and qualifications.
