Lead planned learning activities and agreed whole-class cover Deliver small-group interventions and review pupils' understanding Adapt resources with teachers to support different learning needs Maintain positive routines and share progress with classroom colleagues HLTA status or equivalent evidence of higher-level classroom experience Confidence leading learning in a primary classroom Strong literacy, numeracy, organisation and communication skills A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
