Description

We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative – HGV Class 2 to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience.

In this role, you will

  • Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly manner
  • Ensure we meet our target of 98% on-time delivery
  • Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed
  • Load and unload THX’s hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques
  • Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading.

YOU MAY ALSO

  • Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment
  • Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations
  • Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team
  • During quieter periods, you may be required to support our Warehouse and/or Workshop department.

The full-time schedule ranges from start times between 5:00am-7.30am, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • A valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC
  • Experience in driving and delivering goods
  • Familiarity with IT and navigation systems.

You will also ideally have a current IPAF licence.
