We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience.
Key responsibilities include
- Manual handling of heavy, bulky items in a safe and careful manner.
- Ensure customers receive the accurate hire equipment on time and in a positive & friendly manner in accordance with our delivery targets
- Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as required.
- Follow safe working processes/practices while driving and loading/unloading, using appropriate machinery.
- Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment.
- Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations.
- Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role, providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience of driving professionally & delivering goods is preferred, but not essential.
- Manual handling and the ability to maneuver heavy equipment.
- A valid, clean UK driving license for manual vehicles.
- Computer literate with a familiarity of IT and navigation systems.
- Reliable, flexible and a strong team-player.
- Comfortable driving in congested areas include London.
