Salary: Up to 40,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits Package Our client is a well-established and respected residential housebuilder with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality new homes.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team based in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced commercial professionals on a range of residential developments.
The Role Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will assist in the commercial management of multiple housing developments, helping to control costs, support procurement activities and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of tender packages and trade specifications.
Support the tender evaluation and subcontractor appointment process.
Help prepare purchasing schedules and procurement plans.
Process subcontractor payments, variations and contra charges.
Assist with monthly valuations and sales applications.
Maintain accurate payment records and commercial documentation.
Produce quantity take-offs and bills of quantities from construction drawings.
Support the agreement and settlement of final accounts.
Carry out site measurements and re-measurements where required.
