A very well-regarded Legal 500 firm is looking for a senior legal secretary or paralegal to work in the property department at the their office in Guildford.
Please note, the firm is happy to offer hybrid working for this role on successful completion of the probationary period.
The firm would like to speak to legal secretaries or paralegals who have a minimum of 3 years' experience in conveyancing work.
The role will involve some client facing work as well as back-office support, including:
·ad hoc assistance to all our solicitors throughout a transaction
·undertaking property searches
·drafting SDLT Returns, submitting same and making sure payment is made
·obtaining indemnity insurance policies for no search insurance, chancel liability, restrictive covenants etc
·dealing with pre and post completion files
·chasing clients for missing information
·reading and dealing with incoming/outgoing post including scanning
·file closing, deeds storage and archiving
The role will be full-time, permanent and salary will be 30k to 35k.
