Are you an apprenticeship trained CNC Miller? Currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a very busy specialist engineering company in Hyde. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis as applicable) Read and interpret engineering drawings Create part programmes when necessary Load programs, set tool offsets, and perform test runs Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments Carry out in process inspection using measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.) Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Identify and correct machining defects or errors Follow health, safety, and quality procedures at all times Record production data and report issues to supervisors or engineers Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Machinist Strong understanding of CNC milling operations and tooling Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD
