PAYE Rates: · (PAYE 6AM onwards): Monday to Thursday, £16.21, Friday £16.95, Saturday £17.87 & Sunday £18.20 · (PAYE 2PM onwards): Monday to Thursday £16.87, Friday £17.60, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61 · (PAYE 10PM onwards): Monday to Friday £17.59, Saturday £20.69 & Sunday £21.96 PAYE ROLLEDUP Rates: · (RU 6AM onwards): Monday to Thursday £18.17, Friday £19.00, Saturday £20.03 & Sunday £20.40 · (RU 2PM onwards): Monday to Thursday £18.91, Friday £19.72, Saturday £20.50, Sunday £20.86 · (RU 10PM onwards): Monday to Thursday £19.71, Friday £20.28, Saturday £23.19 & Sunday £24.61 The role: · Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels. · No manual handing. · Ability to drive class 2 when cover is needed for holiday (max 3 times a month). · Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision. · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. · Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. · Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements: · Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE). · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · New passes welcome! · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test. · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset.
