COMPANY BACKGROUND
Our client is a successful eCommerce company with a large range of consumer goods and brands that are recognised and sold across most of the world's leading online platforms (Amazon, Google Shopping, eBay etc).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage all of the copywriting and content production, they wish to recruit a Content Manager. The responsibilities of the job will include:

  • Drive the content strategy and production of copy for all websites
  • Line-manage and mentor the SEO copywriter team
  • Edit, proofread and improve UK/US/IE copy
  • Work closely with the SEO Technical Manager to ensure we are aligning the content strategy
  • Liaise with external agencies and content writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Leverage keyword research, analytics and SEO tools to identify content gaps and advise SEO copywriters
  • Review existing content on website(s) and advise on strategies to refresh or better optimise
  • Monitor competitor content strategies to ensure we are always leading from an SEO perspective
  • Supply relevant information to Project Manager to produce content briefs

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken. Experience working within a similar role (preferably for an e-commerce brand). Demonstrated experience of content production for SEO purposes. Line management experience. Thorough understanding of SEO. Excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and teamwork skills. Keen problem solver.

SALARY
£40,000 - £45,000
