We are currently seeking a talented, driven and experienced Sous Chef to strengthen our kitchen brigade.

This is a key leadership role within the culinary team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food across restaurant, weddings, events and seasonal offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen, promoting consistency, quality and teamwork.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
  • Maintain strong control over food quality, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Assist with menu development, seasonal changes and special event menus.
  • Manage stock control, ordering and wastage to maintain GP targets.
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to excellence.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent) preferred.
