We are seeking a senior B2C Solution Architect to join our dynamic team fulltime. In this pivotal role, you will design and architect end-to-end solutions leveraging Salesforce Core Platform, Service Cloud, Data 360, and Marketing Cloud Engagement/Next to drive our B2C transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product leads, analysts, and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. A deep understanding of Salesforce data models, asynchronous integration patterns, and cross-cloud B2C architecture is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect comprehensive B2C enterprise solutions across Salesforce Core, Service Cloud (Omnichannel, Voice, Messaging), and Marketing Cloud Engagement.
- Develop detailed architecture deliverables, including system topology diagrams, data models, interaction diagrams, process flows, and integration specs.
- Ensure all designs align with security, performance, scalability, and platform best practices.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Salesforce Core, Data 360, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud cross-cloud integrations.
- Drive best practices around Salesforce data management, enterprise sharing models, and platform governance.
- Guide engineering teams on proper configuration vs. custom code trade-offs.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Product Managers to lead technical discovery, evaluate requirements, and translate business objectives into technical specifications.
- Effectively communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to business stakeholders at all levels.
- Present solution designs to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) / Engineering Group to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Mentor developers and review technical designs to address implementation risks early.
Who you are
- Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect with a focus on B2C Salesforce implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Service Cloud capabilities: Routing, Omnichannel, Service Cloud Voice (or CTI like Vonage), Email-to-Case, and Enhanced Messaging.
- Hands-on expertise with Data 360, Marketing Cloud Engagement and cross-cloud integration patterns (Marketing Cloud Connect, APIs, Event-Driven Architecture).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, platform limits, and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with Apex Enterprise Patterns and enterprise integration standards.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience mentoring mid-level and senior developers on Salesforce design patterns, code review standards, and architectural best practices.
- Track record of managing competing priorities across Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders, and driving alignment on technical direction amid differing viewpoints.
- Comfortable presenting and defending solution designs in formal/informal review settings (e.g., Architecture Review Meeting).
