Taylor Haldane Barlex LLP is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Solicitor or Paralegal to join our busy and growing Care Department, based in Chelmsford.
Our highly regarded Care team handles a varied and rewarding caseload, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their legal knowledge, gain practical experience and build a long-term career in law.
We are looking for a candidate who has completed their degree and is keen to learn, take on new challenges and develop their skills within a supportive and dedicated team. Previous experience in family or care law would be advantageous but is not essential, as training and guidance will be provided.
About you
The successful candidate will:
- Have completed a law degree or an equivalent qualifying degree.
- Have a genuine interest in family and care law, with a desire to progress professionally.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Work effectively as part of a team while also taking responsibility for their own tasks.
- Have good IT skills and a positive, professional approach.
