The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Liaising between internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize and implement technical sales, project execution and to ensure seamless deliveries to regional clients through project management and coordination of activities from order through to end of well reporting. The role will also include travel within the region.

Reporting Relationships: Directly reports to: Area Manager – UK, Continental Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa

Financial Responsibilities: Individual project budgets to be managed in accordance with TAQA Well Completions procedures and appropriate approvals as per company’s Manual of Authority.

Key Activities:

  • Technical Sales of Company’s products & services in the region
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers and provide technical sales and project support to ensure continuous on time deliveries and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and lead new project opportunities to expand product and service portfolio in the region.
  • In conjunction with the regional team, prepare and coordinate tenders, RFQ’s and technical reports.
  • Develop and deliver client presentations and quotation responses.
  • Maintain up to date information on project deliveries through company CRM system.
  • Technical support interface for existing and future clients
  • Co-ordinate design requirements through engineering ensuring the correct feasibility of customer requirements.
  • Lead and deliver on key assigned projects.
  • Provide technical support as required.
  • Provide after sales support as required.
  • In partnership with the Area Manager prepare and coordinate a (annual) sales and marketing plan for the area, including but not limited to target customers, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.
  • Provide and report the necessary market intelligence for the region, i.e., market potential, expected tenders, sales pipeline, and competitor’s activities.
  • Analyse and present test results, including presentations to customers where and when required. This may require travel within the region.
  • Work closely with, communicate and support Engineering and Supply Chain where necessary.

Individual QHSE Responsibilities:

  • To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety, and the Environment.
  • To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments.
  • To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in science/engineering or qualified through experience. Previous Completions, Sand Control and Interventions field experience required.
  • Preferred: Degree in engineering, Subsurface/Petroleum discipline, or equivalent competence through in relevant oilfield discipline e.g. Drilling, Completions, Intervention.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Must have experience in technical sales/ project engineering/ management within the oilfield service industry, working within the upstream sector.
  • Experience in managing and delivering projects.
  • Experience in UK, Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa markets.
  • Experience in delivering technical solutions to the marketplace.
  • Show a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, along with an ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve challenges.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to effectively utilise dedicated resources, and the ability to plan, control, and take responsibility for own work.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership skills and an ability to drive sales through bundling technology solutions.
  • Experience in oilfield technologies in well completions and interventions.

  • Ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions.
  • Problem solving approach and a ‘get it right first time’ attitude.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good teamwork skills.
