Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) which encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
Area of Responsibility:
- Working directly with the customer EE & High Voltage integration team and internal TTL engineers to understand current Integration & test requirements.
- Ability to read/understand ECU schematic, identify HW-SW integration issues.
- Work with system experts to understand system requirements and features to ensure coverage of testing meets expectations.
- Experience in vehicle testing and vehicle integration at overall system level.
- Reporting of issues and status of testing observed on vehicle with first-level test data and test sequence.
- Strong understanding of electronic ECU's used in BEV battery electric vehicle and vehicle subsystems.
- Discuss knowledge gaps and system requirements with system experts to enable thorough test coverage.
- Development of test scripts and software panels to enable repeatable and efficient testing of regular software drops.
- Support setup, commissioning and refinement of test system(s) and test automation.
- Familiarity with microprocessor-based controls and development tools (emulators, debuggers, etc.).
- Perform testing of the HV system in a small rig / bench.
- Acceptance testing on software / system delivered and tested by suppliers.
- Automation script design skills in MATLAB/{python/C}.
- Experience in simulation/virtual methodologies and/or tools.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in electrical, electronic, software, automotive or test engineering.
- Experience of system or vehicle test experience.
- Requirements-based test development and execution experience.
- Knowledge of automotive networks and electronic systems.
- Strong defect reporting, data analysis and troubleshooting capability.
- Desirable:
- HIL/SIL, vehicle or automated test experience.
- Python, CAPL, MATLAB or vTESTstudio scripting.
- ASPICE and ISO 26262 awareness.
