Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
Role Summary:
The successful HIL RIG Engineer will be responsible for Designing, building and maintaining National Instruments/dSpace Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test Systems, models and automated testing of Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 HiL rigs.
The role will involve working on full vehicle systems integration HIL Verification & Validation projects for the design, development, release, integration and delivery of state-of-the-art systems.
Fast-paced development provides a challenging environment suited to an engineer who can quickly develop skills in new areas and liaise with and drive other engineers within a multidisciplinary and global team.
Dimension of function:
You will be Responsible for building full vehicle HIL test setups covering complex domains like ePowertrain and energy, HV/LV Signal level /Power level HILs, Battery Management Systems & EDU Rigs, Chassis & Kinetics. xgikmsk Your focus will be on end to end test automation for the testing of complex features such as torque vectoring, Kinetics suspensions and Fully active suspension.
Areas of responsibility:
·Specification and implementation of HIL systems for ePowertrain, Chassis,Kinetics and Body Domain
·HIL facilities maintenance and upgrade work for HIL, including support for control strategies design modelling, development and integration for driveline subsystems and attributes; control module validation and implementation onto test rigs
·Design and implementation of signal and power level HIL
