About the role

The Quant team at Mustard Systems create predictive models that are globally recognised as best-in‑class.

We use cutting‑edge statistical methods to model cricket and trading strategies, often developing our own techniques.

We answer the questions captains, pundits and traders argue about: What strategy would be best in this situation?

How do matchups affect the game?

Who are the best players really?

We're looking for talented individuals to join our team.

What you can expect?

What we're looking for?

  • A 1st class degree from a top university or a 2:1 from Oxbridge.
  • Degree‑level study in statistics and probability theory.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity and confidence to try new approaches.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • An interest in sports or competitive games. No cricket knowledge required!
