Health & Safety Advisor / Officer - Utility Scale Solar Farm Location: Essex (5 days per week, onsite) Contract: 3 months+ with strong potential for extension Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor/Officer to join a major utility scale solar farm construction project in Essex. The role Provide day-to-day H&S support and guidance to the site team and subcontractors Carry out site inspections, audits and toolbox talks Review RAMS, permits to work and method statements Investigate incidents and near misses, and drive corrective actions Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and all relevant legislation Maintain accurate H&S records and reporting Essential requirements Proven experience on utility scale solar projects (essential) NEBOSH General Certificate or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) CSCS card Current SMSTS / CITB qualifications Experience on large civils or electrical construction sites Full UK driving licence and own transport to site Desirable Tech IOSH or NEBOSH Diploma First Aid at Work Experience with HV or electrical safety If you have recent solar farm experience and are available to start soon, we'd like to hear from you.
