Qualifications & Skills
We're looking for an engineer with a solid electrical background and experience in:
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Wiring / diagnostics (equipment-based)
- Planned preventative maintenance
Highly relevant backgrounds include:
- Catering Equipment Engineer / Commercial Kitchen Engineer
- Coffee Machine Engineer
- Bakery Equipment Engineer
- Dishwasher / Warewash Engineer
- Field Service Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer
- Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Qualifications (flexible):
- 17th or 18th Edition is useful, but we will also consider engineers with strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on commercial equipment.
- Mechanical fitters with good electrical experience are also considered.
Training
- Full training provided:
- 3 months structured training initially
- Continued training over the next two years
Working Hours / Overtime
- Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm
- Overtime paid at time and a half and double time
- On-call rota begins after 3 months training (typically one weekend every three weeks)
- All on-call work paid at overtime rates and door-to-door
