About the Role

Reporting into the Brand Marketing Director, we’re looking for a Head of VIP, Influencers & PR to build TALA’s profile, cultural relevance and desirability through the people, partnerships, moments and conversations that matter.

You’ll lead the strategy across VIP partnerships, Influencers, Ambassadors, Pro, PR, gifting and events, turning TALA into a brand that people see, talk about and want to be part of.

You’ll know and understand that the fastest way to build awareness is to put TALA in the right hands, in the right places, with the right people.

The successful candidate will bring a serious black book of relevant VIPs from celebrities and musicians to stylists, athletes, creators and cultural tastemakers and know how to build genuine relationships with them.

You’ll be responsible for creating the moments that make TALA feel bigger, more culturally relevant and impossible to ignore.

  • Tasks
  • What You’ll Own
  • VIP & Cultural Partnerships
  • Build and own TALA’s VIP strategy, identifying the people who can meaningfully increase awareness, desirability and cultural relevance.
  • Develop relationships with celebrities, musicians, stylists, athletes, tastemakers and influential cultural figures.
  • Bring a strong existing network and continually build TALA’s VIP black book.
  • Create strategic partnerships that go beyond gifting from organic product placement to collaborations, appearances and brand moments.
  • Ensure TALA is consistently seen on the right people, in the right places and at the right cultural moments.
  • Ambassador & Pro Programmes
  • Own the strategy, vision and evolution of TALA’s Ambassador and Pro programmes.
  • Define the role these programmes play within TALA’s broader brand and awareness strategy, including who we want to attract, why they matter and what we want them to deliver.
  • Establish the programme proposition, structure, tiers, criteria and long-term growth strategy.
  • Together with the team, build a best-in‑class network of ambassadors and professional athletes who genuinely align with TALA and can become powerful advocates for the brand.
  • Set the strategic direction for recruitment, relationship development, activation and retention, with the team responsible for day‑to‑day programme management and execution.
  • Continuously assess and evolve the programmes based on KPIs including brand impact, reach, engagement and commercial contribution.
  • Influencer
  • Own the overall influencer strategy, defining how influencer partnerships drive awareness, cultural relevance, desirability and growth.
  • Set the direction for the talent TALA works with, from high‑profile creators and cultural tastemakers to emerging talent and community voices.
  • Identify opportunities to move beyond traditional influencer activity into cultural partnerships, organic product placement and high‑impact moments.
  • Ensure influencer strategy is integrated with VIP, Ambassador, Pro, PR, gifting, social and campaign activity.
  • Set clear KPIs and continuously evolve the strategy based on performance and cultural opportunity.
  • Gifting
  • Own the strategic direction for TALA gifting, transforming it from a reactive PR function into a significant awareness and brand‑building engine.
  • Together with the team, define who TALA should be gifting, when, why and what we want gifting to achieve.
  • Oversee the strategy for key product launches, cultural moments, VIP gifting, stylist seeding and wider brand moments.
  • Lead the team in developing, signing off and executing gifting programmes, ensuring activity ladders back to wider brand and campaign priorities.
  • Together with the Brand Marketing Director own the overall PR strategy and communications agenda for TALA.
  • Define the role of PR within the wider brand strategy and how it will contribute to building fame, credibility and awareness.
  • Set the annual PR strategy, priorities, narratives and key cultural moments, working closely with Brand Marketing, Social, Influencer and Product.
  • Brief the PR agency to establish the types of stories TALA should be known for and proactively identify opportunities to create news rather than simply respond to it.
  • Ensure the PR team and agency has a clear roadmap and empower them to execute against it.
  • Events & Experiences
  • Own the TALA events and experiences strategy, defining how physical brand experiences can drive awareness, desirability, community and growth.
  • Set the annual events strategy, including the role of VIP events, consumer experiences, cultural moments, product launches, retail activations and larger‑scale brand moments.
  • Define what makes a TALA experience distinctive and ensure every activation is rooted in the brand and designed to generate impact beyond the room.
  • Identify and feed into the events team opportunities for TALA to create culturally relevant moments that can extend into PR, social and organic conversation.
  • Oversee the brief and objectives for key events, with the team responsible for planning and delivering the experience.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the effectiveness of events against awareness, reach, brand impact and commercial objectives, continually evolving the approach.
