Residential Childrens Support Worker Wellingborough Full-Time | Permanent £33,835 £34,833 per year (including sleep-ins) About the Client Our client is a well-established, family-run residential childcare provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people. All of their homes are Ofsted-registered and rated Good , demonstrating their commitment to maintaining high standards and positive outcomes. The Role Our client is seeking Residential Childrens Support Workers and Qualified Support Workers to join their dedicated teams. Successful candidates will support children in a residential setting, helping them to feel safe, valued, and supported in their development. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people Promote positive behaviour and build strong, trusting relationships Support daily routines, education, and personal development Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a safe environment Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures Working Hours 40 hours per week , on a rota basis including: Early shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pm Late shifts: 3:00pm to 9:00pm Long days: 8:00am to 8:00pm Long day + sleep: 8:00am to 11:00pm + sleep-in Salary & Benefits Support Worker: £33,835.20 per year (including approx. 8 sleep-ins per month) Qualified Support Worker: £34,833.60 per year (including approx. 8 sleep-ins per month) Full-time, permanent position Opportunity to increase earnings through additional sleep-ins Ongoing training and development Supportive, close-knit working environment Requirements Experience working with children or young people (transferable experience will be considered) A genuine passion for supporting young people Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins Strong communication and teamwork skills Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent (for Qualified Support Worker roles) Apply Now This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable provider and build a rewarding career in residential childcare.
