This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract within a high impact finance systems team, focusing on developing and enhancing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions supporting FP&A, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models, including cubes, dimensions, rules, and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes.
  • Design and deliver dynamic reporting solutions using Active Forms, PAX, and PAW.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify system enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Build and optimise ETL processes and data integrations, leveraging SQL where required.
  • Support data modelling and warehouse design aligned to finance and reporting needs.
  • Ensure robust testing, deployment, and change management processes.
  • Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
  • Document solutions and promote best practice development standards.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience developing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions within Financial Services.
  • Strong expertise in TM1 development (cubes, dimensions, rules, TI processes, workflows, active forms).
  • Experience with PAX and PAW.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL for querying and building ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with FP&A processes and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong Excel and VBA skills.
  • Understanding of MDX for subsets and dynamic views.
  • Experience across the full development lifecycle.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
  • Professional accounting qualification (desirable).
