Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.About the role Sulzer is looking for a skilled Pump Service Engineer to join our Birmingham Service Centre, supporting the overhaul, repair and testing of critical pumping equipment for customers across the water, energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors.This is primarily a workshop-based role, working within our state-of-the-art facility alongside experienced engineers and technicians. However, flexibility is essential, as you'll also support customers on-site with inspections, fault finding, maintenance and emergency breakdown activities when required.What You'll Be DoingDismantling, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding a wide range of pumps and rotating equipmentDiagnosing faults and recommending repair solutionsConducting performance testing and quality inspectionsProducing accurate service reports and technical documentationSupporting site activities including maintenance, installation, commissioning and breakdown responseWorking safely and professionally at customer locations across the UK when requiredWhat We're Looking ForExperience servicing, repairing or overhauling pumps and rotating equipmentStrong mechanical engineering and fault-finding skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationA flexible approach, with willingness to undertake site work and travel when requiredCommitment to quality, safety and customer serviceWhy Join Sulzer?Based at our Birmingham Service Centre, you'll work from one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the UK.
