Hi, I'm Samantha, the Nursery Manager at The Marina. Located on the University of Lincoln campus, our nursery thrives on strong relationships with families, students, and the wider community. Our beautifully designed spaces—from the magical reading treehouse loft to our bright, open-plan rooms—create a stimulating and engaging environment that supports every child’s development. Set beside the Brayford Pool, our children enjoy daily moments of wonder as they observe ducks, ducklings, and swans, connecting deeply with the natural world right outside our doors.

What you'll be doing

  • As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting.
  • Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for.
  • Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.
  • You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.
