We have a fantastic opportunity for a QA Student to join our Quality team on a 12-month fixed term contract starting in July 2027.
The successful candidate will gain an understanding of working within the Quality department and support the whole function with various Quality related tasks.
An overview of the role:
- Assist with preparation and completion of inhouse customer consistency panels
- Auditing and archiving of production paperwork, verifying acceptability and reporting any non-conformances.
- Conduct beginning of life and end of life assessment of products which will include cooking the products.
- Conducting QA weekly calibrations
- Assisting with microbiological investigation (including environmental swabbing and sample collection).
- Attend Organoleptic Testing
- Assisting with foreign body reduction projects.
- Assisting with quality complaints reduction projects.
- Assisting the shift QA with daily tasks – this will include CCP checks.
- Attendance at NPD benchmarking panels
- Assist QA’s with factory trials and product launches
- Ensuring finished products are sent to the external lab for testing as per retailer schedule
- Other tasks/investigations relevant to the quality department
- Other relevant tasks related to product or process.
- Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
- Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
Candidates should be studying a food related degree course and hold a drivers license.
Excellent communication skills are key with the ability to multi-task and use initiative.
