StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing lock and drop store deliveries work based in Bedford. This is a great opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.
Drivers will benefit from a straightforward store delivery role with pre-loaded trailers and modern equipment.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £21ph plus holiday pay or, £23.53ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
You'll be completing lock and drop store deliveries with start times typically between 16:00-02:00. The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 9–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)
- Temperature-controlled experience is preferred but not essential
StaffCo Direct provides weekly pay, PPE, online driver portal access, pension scheme enrolment, ongoing support from a dedicated account team, and consistent long-term bookings. You'll also benefit from free on-site parking and a smooth onboarding process.
