As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in our ED Program (Embracing Different), you'll provide one-to-one support for a high school student with special educational needs. You'll work as a key member of our Learning Support team, collaborating with subject teachers, specialist staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the student receives the personalised support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building a caring, respectful, and supportive relationship with your assigned student.
- Working closely with teachers to implement a consistent, structured learning plan.
- Providing academic and emotional support throughout lessons, break times, and school routines.
- Adapting materials and approaches to meet the student's unique learning needs.
- Encouraging self-confidence, independence, and positive peer interactions.
- Applying strategies from professional development directly in the classroom setting.
We're seeking a dedicated, patient, and proactive professional with a genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people with diverse needs. You'll support the student and school team by:
- Being dependable, fully engaged, and present throughout the school day.
- Implementing strategies from the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
- Offering clear instructions, visual aids, and hands-on support when needed.
- Promoting emotional regulation and fostering a positive mindset.
- Communicating clearly and regularly with parents, teachers, and therapists.
- Supporting the student during field trips, school events, and extracurricular activities.

- Fluency in Thai and English, with a strong understanding of Thai culture.
