Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven, customer focused individual to join our global Client Service team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be supporting clients in North America, Europe and Africa. They need to have attention to detail and react efficiently and effectively to client needs in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also have an enquiring mind that seeks to improve both themselves and the processes they are working with.

The position requires working directly with clients, making communication and interpersonal skills essential. This is an exciting opportunity to work with, and learn from, senior and experienced financial and technology professionals in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. Softek has bold aspirations, the role is strategically important in the continuation of the growth of the company whilst maintaining market-leading customer service.

Responsibilities

  • To respond efficiently and effectively to client requests by email and/or phone
  • Build an in-depth understanding of Softek’s services and processes to provide industry leading customer support
  • Proactively communicating potential opportunities or issues identified to the team and management
  • Working with internal stakeholders to improve processes and practices to enhance the customer experience

Skills and Requirements

  • Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and under direction
  • Strong collaborator, enhancing the strong team environment
  • Ability to identify issues, analyse, think logically and methodically, evaluate factual data and generate ideas
  • Able to prioritise heavy workloads and work efficiently under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Undergraduate preferably with a numerical degree (Maths, Engineering, Physics, Finance or Economics)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio a plus
  • Knowledge of finance and capital markets a plus
