About the role

Mon Ami Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a 3‑bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Leyland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home
  • Lead and mentor the care team
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
  • Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and support strategies

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience working in a Children’s Residential Home
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s care regulations
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or Level 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate a care team
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people
