Leaks are the most urgent work we take. A leak into a flat below turns into a damp job, a decorating job and an unhappy client, so the plumber is the person who stops all three.
Alongside that there is bathroom work, tap and valve replacements, and the plumbing side of kitchen and refurbishment jobs.
What the work is
- Find the actual cause of a leak, not just the wet patch.
- Make the repair safe and watertight, and say plainly what still needs doing.
- Work on bathroom installations and the plumbing first fix and second fix on refurbishments.
- Photograph the pipework before you close anything up.
What we need from you
- Time-served plumbing experience and your own tools.
- Public liability insurance, or willing to get it before your first job.
- The right to work in the UK, and registered as self‑employed (CIS where the work is construction).
- Your own tools and your own transport.
- A phone you can take photos on. Every job is signed off with pictures.
Paid per job. The price is agreed with you before the work starts, and it does not change afterwards.
