Procurement Specialist in Loughborough
About the role
The procurement and supply chain division at SF Partners are currently working with a really exciting business who has experienced continuous successful growth which finds them looking for the next hire to join their business.
This role is a total mix of Buying, Material Planning and Project Coordination, so I am looking to speak to individuals that are able to multitask and thrive within an ever changing, fast paced working environment.
You will work closely alongside senior management and project managers with the below tasks:
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, client and contractors to ensure the project runs smoothly within agreed timeframes.
- Sourcing and onboarding of selective suppliers to meet product demands.
- Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors - utilising your negotiation skills.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation.
- Managing multiple tenders and deadlines with precision.
- Ensuring all purchasing and project related invoices are filed correctly and approved before sharing with the finance team.
- Delivering a first-class service to support with continuity of growth of the business.
The successful candidate for this role will come from either a project, planning or buying background, ideally within the construction industry, but not essential.
You will also need to be:
- A true team player and have the ability to prioritise your daily duties within a fast-paced working environment.
- Proactive with your time.
- Excellent communication skills - have the ability to develop relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
