LEAD INFORMATION

Job Title - FLT Operator (Reach & Counterbalance FLT)

Site location - Winsford Ind Estate

Responsible to - Warehouse Manager / Shift Manager

Purpose of the role - To safely and efficiently operate Reach and Counterbalance FLTs within a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring accurate stock control, product movement, and support for the wider operations team.

Client brief - A well-established manufacturing and distribution business, supplying critical products to customers with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy and teamwork.

KEY INFORMATION

Reason for vacancy - Increased demand within the warehouse team Contract - Full time, temp-to-perm opportunity.

Salary - Β£14.00ph

Overtime - 1.5x basic rate

Shifts - Monday to Friday 7am-5pm

Holidays - Accrual in line with agency provision, 20 days + BH when perm Facilities - Onsite parking, canteen and welfare facilities provided

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role -

* Store and handle materials and products within the warehouse using Reach and Counterbalance FLTs
* Update location records manually and via Excel throughout the day
* Load and unload delivery/collection vehicles safely
* Ensure components are stored in the correct storage locations
* Support the stock control team when required
* Drive FLTs in line with company safety rules and regulations
* Keep the warehouse clean and tidy at all times
* Assist with component movement between the factory and warehouse
* Complete pre-start FLT check records at the start of every shift
* Wear appropriate PPE/workwear in line with H&S requirements
* Prepare and mark up container shipments
* Experience with SAP is an advantage but not essential

Key Skills Required -

* Valid Reach and Counterbalance licences (minimum 6 months validity preferred)
* Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping ability
* Flexible and adaptable approach to workload
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience using SAP desirable but not essential
