Overview
In this role you will lead the design and evolution of our mission-critical communication software, focusing on high-performance C#/.NET solutions and future microservices architectures. You will work with the Software Team to deliver robust, low-latency applications and drive technical strategy aligned with business goals. You will mentor developers, establish coding standards, and ensure reliability through CI/CD and rigorous problem-solving. This is an opportunity to shape scalable infrastructure for critical communications in a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance, secure communication systems using C#/.NET
- Develop robust, low-latency applications for high-volume data and real-time processing
- Drive platform vision and alignment with long-term business goals and industry standards
- Lead code reviews, set coding standards, and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot complex issues to maximise uptime and reliability
- Mentor mid-level and senior developers to foster technical excellence
Key requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET framework (including .NET Core/.NET)
- Deep expertise in designing scalable, distributed systems (microservices)
- Proven experience with communication/high-availability technologies (TCP/IP, gRPC, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Expertise in performance tuning, concurrency, and multithreading for low-latency processing
- Strong understanding of security principles for critical infrastructure
