About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, engaging, and organised Account Manager to join our high-performing Sales Team. In this role, you will take ownership of and manage a portfolio of existing customers within our Existing Business Sales function at SeedLegals. The Existing Business team oversees all companies beyond their initial point of purchase. Upon a customer's onboarding, you will initiate a strategy call to understand their key goals and plans for the upcoming year. Subsequently, you will develop a relevant contact strategy, encompassing check-in calls, pertinent email updates, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Your focus will be on ensuring the sustained success of your accounts on SeedLegals while uncovering and capitalising on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to optimise the value our platform provides to founders. Your performance will be measured through quarterly revenue goals which we break down in weekly and monthly KPI’s.

Requirements

  • You have a track record of exceeding targets, ideally in a similar B2B sales role.
  • You have experience in account management or consultative selling, with a focus on long term customer value OR have a strong sales acumen and are ready for your next challenge in a longer term relationship role.
  • You enjoy building rapport and fostering long term relationships.
  • You are self-sufficient and self-motivated, trusted to manage your own time and hunt out proactive opportunities within your accounts.
  • You are exceptionally organised and have good time management.
  • You are a team player, and thrive in an environment of close collaboration and best practice sharing.
  • Ideally, you are able to demonstrate a passion for the Startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of over 400 innovative startups who are looking to take their business to the next level.
  • Build brilliant relationships with your clients so that you are on the pulse in terms of their strategic plans for the future.
  • Regularly analysing data on your portfolio of clients to identify key triggers to cross sell various products to your clients based on their specific needs, primarily across Funding, Options and R&D.
  • Create a regular and recurring revenue stream from your clients through educating them of the benefits of our product portfolio.
  • Add value to your clients in order to minimise churn and secure renewal of their SeedLegals subscription.
  • Increase the lifetime value of your portfolio accounts by balancing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities alongside developing long-term customer relationships.

Previous applicants need not apply.
