About the role

Estimator - a leading construction firm operating in the refurbishment and build sector is searching for an Estimator to join their successful pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to join a privately owned main contractor with a strong reputation for delivery across healthcare, education and industrial sectors.

The role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful schemes which make a real difference to the local community - and include refurbishments, alterations, extensions and small new build projects ranging £100K - £5M.

Salary & Package:

  • Guideline salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (Negotiable)
  • Company Car Allowance of £5,000
  • 25 days + bank holidays
  • Healthcare & Pension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue subcontract enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Price project preliminaries based on programme duration and site requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' estimating experience with a building contractor or refurbishment specialist Main Contractor
  • Desire to develop knowledge of construction processes and sector nuances.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
