HR Advisor in Northampton
About the role
We have a vacancy for a HR Advisor to join the HR Team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Reporting to the HR Director, you will be working as part of a team providing support to the business. You will also provide HR support to the HR Director on a variety of HR activities which will be dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the recruitment process including liaising with candidates, managing agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, organising interviews and assessments, issuing appropriate documentation.
- To work with the HR team in ensuring timely preparation of documentation.
- To take responsibility for key HR processes for starters, leavers and change of status; employee benefits.
- To take responsibility for the on-boarding and induction process for new starters.
- Managing the day to day absence policy using Bradford.
- To provide support for on-site and external training and development activities.
- Day-to-day management, including data maintenance of an integrated HR and Payroll system (CASCADE).
- Manage and update the time and attendance system (TENSOR).
- Take on small projects, working closely with the HR Director.
- Support with redundancies and TUPE.
About You
- Able to demonstrate and maintain confidentiality.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience of multi-tasking and adapting to changing priorities.
- Hold a CIPD qualification.
- Experience of working within a small HR team.
- Experience of working with an integrated HR and Payroll system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
