Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd is looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our professional team in Corby. This role involves multi-drop collections and deliveries, providing a high level of service to our customers. We welcome both newly qualified and experienced drivers. Drivers with Class 1 (C+E/CE) licence are encouraged to apply and will be paid accordingly. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service for our customers, involving the delivery and collection of goods.
Responsibilities
- Collection and delivery of customer goods as instructed by the Traffic team
- Achieve timely deliveries in line with companywide objectives
- Develop positive working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Ensure all delivering and receiving paperwork is signed by the customer as appropriate and returned to the Traffic Team for processing
- Complete all internal paperwork required in line with company policies and procedures
- Comply with health and safety legislations, safe systems of work and training requirements
- Serve as an ambassador of the company when dealing with customers and peers alike
Requirements
- A clean UK Class 2 (Cat C or CE) driving licence
- Calm and professional manner
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable and able to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to stay focused and work under pressure
- Flexible
- Good knowledge of UK Geography and the road network

- This position averages 50 hours per week Monday to Friday (with an unpaid meal break). Start and finish times may vary depending on delivery demand and location, but you can expect an average start time between 05:00 and 08:00.
