Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd is looking for a motivated Flexi Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our growing team across our Corby sites (Sallow Road/ Causeway Road). This is a hands‑on, varied role supporting the smooth flow of inbound and outbound freight within a busy, safety‑critical environment. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in accuracy, and thrive outdoors, this could be the perfect role for you – around 80% of your time will be spent outside loading and unloading vehicles in the yard.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and company equipment safely and in line with procedures.
  • Safely and efficiently load and tip inbound and outbound vehicles.
  • Receive and reconcile in‑house deliveries.
  • Quality check stock and allocate to correct warehouse locations.
  • Handball, pick and pack orders as required.
  • Report any incidents involving people, property, or stock to your Team Leader.
  • Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping across warehouse and yard areas.
  • Provide cover across multiple local sites during holidays or sickness.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and freight handling protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid or previous forklift licence/Flexi forklift licence.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to use initiative and work reliably.

Experience

  • Forklift: 1 year (required).

Shifts & Pay

Annual pay between £30,000–£33,000, including weekly bonus.

Additional Information

All successful applicants will be required to take a Drug & Alcohol test on their first day as part of the induction process. A negative result is required to commence employment.
