About the Role
An established and expanding financial planning practice is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join its technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise is valued, your professional development is encouraged, and work-life balance is a genuine priority. You'll work closely with Financial Planners to deliver high-quality technical support, helping provide tailored financial planning solutions and excellent client outcomes.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a Paraplanner within financial planning or wealth management.
- A Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning strategies.
- Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Experience using cashflow modelling software, CRM systems and financial research platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
- A desire to continue developing technical knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning matters.
- Prepare accurate cashflow models to support client recommendations.
- Produce bespoke suitability reports and recommendation documents.
- Liaise with clients and professional connections, including solicitors and accountants.
- Support advice implementation, applications and compliance processes.
- Ensure all work meets FCA regulatory requirements and Consumer Duty principles.
