About the role

The consultant will support the Lead Architect/solution architecture function and programme team by progressing active design work across Business Central, LS Central, integration/iPaaS, legacy NAV dependencies, ticketing, finance, CRM, fulfilment, reporting and data migration. The role requires someone who can work at pace, translate technical ambiguity into clear design artefacts, and provide enough detail for build, test, migration and cutover activity to move forward with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution design support: Provide hands-on solution design support across the remaining key strategic programme deliverables, ensuring designs are complete, coherent and aligned to agreed business and technical outcomes.
  • Business Central and LS Central design: Support design decisions and issue resolution across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Central, including POS, stock, replenishment, finance, membership/customer interactions and operational processes.
  • Integration and iPaaS design: Review and progress integration designs involving APIs, iPaaS/middleware, data mappings, interfaces, error handling, sequencing, ownership and operational monitoring.
  • Legacy NAV and data migration dependencies: Support design and decision activity where legacy NAV, Business Central, data migration and test data dependencies intersect, including bridge/interface considerations and validation approach.
  • Third-party integration support: Work across programme interfaces including Integra, Ventrata, CRM, Saffron/Civica, Staci/3PL, TrueCommerce/EDI and other relevant suppliers or systems.
  • Design-to-test traceability: Ensure design outputs are sufficiently clear for test planning, E2E testing, UAT preparation, defect triage and acceptance activity.
  • Reporting and data design: Support reporting, data mapping and validation considerations, including Business Central reporting outputs, legacy data dependencies and operational reporting requirements.
  • Decision and dependency management: Identify unresolved decisions, assumptions, dependencies, risks and impacts.

Brush Up on Your Technical Skills
