S-RM is looking to recruit a skilled Software Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of platforms and tools that underpin our managed cyber security service delivery. These platforms are central to how we deliver value to our clients, and your role will be crucial in their continued development and evolution. Our team specialises in creating robust, secure, and scalable applications that enable our teams to deliver seamless services to clients. The role:
- Identify and resolve challenges that arise as our platforms grow, delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Implement and document new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and deliver new functionality.
- Lead efforts in writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with industry best practices.
- Identify and implement strategies to ensure our platforms can efficiently handle increased workloads and evolving client needs.
What we're looking for:
- Candidates with a strong interest in application development and a track record of guiding projects to successful outcomes are likely to succeed in this role.
- Proficiency in Go: Experience in developing solutions in Go, with a strong understanding of backend architecture.
- Exposure to Python: Familiarity with Python and a basic understanding of code flows, with the ability to support initiatives from delivery teams.
- Cloud infrastructure / AWS: Experience in managing application hosting, scaling, and deployment processes.
- Full-stack experience (strong plus): Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Vue, or similar frameworks alongside backend development.
The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
Our benefits:
- 25 days holiday per year in addition to bank holidays (+1 day for every year of service up to a maximum of 30 days);
