We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Part-Qualified Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function by providing insightful financial analysis, assisting in month end, variance analysis and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company., * Financial Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.

  • Support in the preparation of financial models and forecasts to aid in decision-making.

  • Reporting:

  • Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal financial reporting processes and systems.

  • Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide support in managing their budgets.

  • Offer insights and recommendations to non-finance managers to help them make informed financial decisions.

  • Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors as required.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function and contribute to the implementation of solutions.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company’s financial processes remain efficient and effective.

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

  • Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a similar industry or environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and analyse large datasets.

  • Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is an advantage.

  • Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.

  • Organisational Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • A competitive salary within the range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
